I'm more inspired than ever of our shared history

Dear Human Era Explorer,

The Dance between the Sun and the Earth

I thought it would great to take a moment to reflect today. In Finland, I’m starting to see the first days of spring sunshine. It very much reminded of the symbolic picture I produced when I began writing almost 6 months ago.

For me, this picture is a reminder of the following:

  • Viewing the rising sun’s rays on the Earth and it’s azure blue glow, is only possible because of the achievements of humanity so far

  • Every day is a new dawn of positive outlook, optimism and possibilities

  • Finding the inner light within us, that empowers us to fuse our personal values with our the contributions we wish to make to society

Learning and writing has helped me have greater clarity on a wider perspective of the human history. I’m left more inspired than ever of our shared history since the beginning of the Human Era about 12000 years ago in modern day Eastern Turkey. That is the region where humans had settled for the first time, and began building around the world around them.

Göbekli Tepe, the first construction project of humanity.

The Göbekli Tepe was uncovered only recently, and earned a UNESCO heritage site in 12,018 HE (6 years ago). This is very likely the place, where the nomadic hunters and gathers settled into agricultural societies. It wasn’t just about cultivating crops, it represented humanity’s newfound ability to stay rooted, to nurture, and to build lasting communities. Truly groundbreaking.

Since then, our ancestors have been at work to produce some of the most incredible and nourishing fruits and vegetables.

Humanity’s favourite Fruits and Vegetables

I am truly humbled by being part of the human era and living in the greatest story of all time; a story of humanity and life.

Rahul, from the Human Era.
